The excitement this week is soaring as many of us prepare our annual pilgrimage to the city that gave birth to Techno – Detroit. Movement Electronic Music Festival kicks off this Saturday in Detroit, MI and it’s only fitting to share fresh new music from some very talented Chicago artists as you anxiously get through the week in preparation.
Microdot and Vector combined musical forces to produce under their alias known as Puft Dank. May 15, 2018 they released their 1st EP titled Wacker Drive. It is comprised of 8 tracks including 4 original singles – This Is Acid Techno, The Drones Are Watching, Techno Stage, and Purple Elephants Green Dinosaurs. Puft Dank have put together a great series of tracks in this release, two of which, explore the harder driven side of Acid Techno. The EP also features collaborative work with Rondell Adams, Angel Alanis, Hyperactive, and Klienfeld. These artists have all taken the stage in the last year to showcase their unique styles in Microdot’s monthly IHeartTechno series.
